Amy Cotler brings almost 3 decades of work as a chef, teacher and farm to table advocate to these fun and informative tastings, which are focused on quality local farm and artisanal foods. Tastings are combined with a short or more comprehensive talk and are tailored to meet each client’s needs.
Participants taste and contrast apple varieties, heirloom tomatoes, farm-fresh vs. supermarket foods, regional cheeses and much more. While savoring the tastings, they gain an understanding of these foods and their production, as well as the vocabulary to express flavor. And they have fun.
Tastings are generally set up and run by Amy Cotler, but she has also served as a consultant, providing participants with the tools needed to run their own.
